I have seen Dr Malik privately and also on the NHS Last time I saw Dr Malik must have been at least 7 years ago now. I have MS. Dr Malik described the condition to me very accurately and in a highly professional manner. Dr Malik prescribed medication and sent me for MRI scans. He is a great listener and I greatly appreciate all the help he gave me . Anybody that I know who may have a Nurological illness I always do and will recommend they see Dr Malik. He must be one of the finest Doctors that the NHS have. Thank you Dr Malik.

Dr Malik was amazing. I saw him initially privately for a consultation and upon learning about my problem and that I was self funding he moved me to NHS. He was thorough and always patient and had time to listen to you. This doctor helped me get some quality of life back. I was discharged after some time to the care of my gp with continuous medication. I saw him at the airport after a few years mind you I looked very different as I had chemotherapy and lost my hair etc but he still remembered everything about me and felt good that i was not just another number but a person. Very good doctor highly recommended

I like Dr Malik, he listens to what you say him, if he is able to answer your question he will do so, if not he will always refer you to someone who can . He speaks to you without that patronising tone. I never expect him to say, I have a cure for you. I hope that he has the time to see me, because if it was not for all those neuro consultants who spend a lot of time and interest in the disease Multiple Scleroses, plus other neurological complaints. I have had MS, for forty years. Yes I am angry, sad, frustrated, lost and want to give up. But, I have married, had children and have grandchildren since from the time they diagnosed me aged only Twenty two. Dr Malik is a fine Gentleman, Doctor I wish him well. I only hoped that I could be a private patient so could get any new treatments that are registered.

I have been a patient of Dr Malik's since I was diagnosed with MS (more than 10 years). He is my consultant neurologist on the NHS and I also see him privately when required. He always listens and I never feel rushed. He explains his diagnisis and treatment options in a way that I can understand, and every appointment I have attended in the last 11 years, whether private or NHS, has always been followed up with a letter to my GP providing an update on my condition and the future plan for my care. It's very important to trust your consultant and to have confidence in the advice and care he provides. In this sense I couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you Dr Malik! Chris

I had a 10 minute consultation and he spent 5 minutes of that on the phone to another patient (I heard all about the other patient). I had to volunteer basic information (such as I have had a recent eye test) as he asked few questions. He then prescribed very aggressive drugs (which further opinions recommend I not take). I was ushered out of the room as he was going on holiday the next day. When I emailed to ask further questions and to say I wasn't happy I was told to book and pay for another appointment (when I made it clear I only used 10 minutes out of the allocated 30 before I was ushered out). After I complained, he said I could go elsewhere. With hindsight I should have complained to the GMC.
